Event Description
On Saturday September 27 at the Old Almonte Town Hall, raintree will present a unique concert experience called Canada Wild. The evening will feature three gorgeous photograph slide shows by Bill Pratt — each accompanied by an original score composed by Ian Douglas. Musicians will perform the scores live while the images unfold.
The three pieces being presented are Arctic, Yukon, & Algonquin Park. Music will be performed by the Raintree Earth Ensemble led by Ian Douglas (piano), Steve Smith (cello), Kelly Sloan (voice), Neil Saungikar (drums & percussion), and Steve Reside (drums & percussion).
